Rocky Mountain Cat Conservancy (RMCC) advances wildlife conservation From the Top Down through active programs for mountain lions in the western United States and snow leopards in Central Asia.
Mountain Lion Overview
RMCC is dedicated to preserving and protecting wild felines, in particular mountain lions and snow leopards--very similar wild cats from both sides of the world. We provide education and outreach programs to raise awareness about the importance of these predators in maintaining viable ecological systems. By working with local communities, schools, and wildlife professionals, we strive to foster a deeper understanding of the challenges these big cats face in the wild and the essential role they play in the health of habitats they share alongside humans. Our research aims to advance the biological and technical knowledge vital to the global conservation of wild cats.
